Unity Candle Sets

I didn't get as many finished this week as I would have liked but am still ahead on ship dates. Keep in mind that around large holidays involving floral design I am busy at my day job. This was secretary's week, KY derby week (this week), prom season, wedding season. It just ended up being crazy for several days. But again I am not behind, still ahead of schedule.

Unity Candle Sets in all the colors of the rainbow

It is a busy weekend here in my studio. I am trying to get as many candles sets done in the next two weeks as I can. Many of these aren't scheduled to ship for another 2-3 weeks yet. I have several orders that I am holding on as I wait for answers to questions I have. So I went ahead and bumped up several orders as I wait for those to reply. Several of these don't have their tapers done yet as I am waiting on ribbon. If you see yours and would like to know a projected new ship date please convo me through Etsy. I am going to get those in this group that are May 15th (or sooner) wedding dates shipped out first and then will ship the others after that. As you can imagine it takes a long time to get them all carefully wrapped and packaged for mailing.

Sizzling Chicken Fajitas.

One of the things I loved best about summer is grilling out. I know that having a gas grill means I could do it year around but I don't like the cold, lol. So I am doing fajitas tonight. There used to be a place called Tumbleweed here that had the best fajitas. They closed but I have their receipe. Give this a try -

8 boneless, skinless Tyson chicken tenders (frozen)
1 bottle Wishbone Italian dressing
1 each red pepper and green pepper sliced matchstick style
1 sweet onion sliced into rings (1/4" thick)
1 lime, halfed
Mission flour tortillas

Put chicken, peppers, onion and 3/4 bottle of dressing in a gallon ziplock bag in the morning before work/school, refrigerate. That evening spray the grill with PAM, turn on the grill and place chicken on it. Take heavy duty foil and create a packet with the onions/peppers in it and lay on grill. Cook chicken until done, flipping once. Open packet and lay chicken on top of vegtables. Squirt half lime over the chicken. Continue grilling until vegetables are tender/crisp. Remove from heat. Lay out flour tort and layer in chicken/vegtables. You may also add cheese if desired. Either way, yummy! Since I work at the Farmer's Market I stock up on peppers in season, chop, and freeze. This also works well on a George Foreman.

Easter Ham & Cheese Rolls

This is a quick main dish or appetizer for any event, plus a family favorite.

1 can Pillsbury Cresent Rolls
1/2 pound thin slice Virgina Baked Ham
1 small bag of baby spinach leaves (wash/remove stems)
1 package Sargenta Baby Swiss Cheese Slices

Preheat oven to 375. Spray baking dish with Pam. Unroll cresents and seperate. Take cresent roll and place 1/2 slice ham, 1/4 slice of cheese and two spinach leaves on top, then add other 1/2 slice of ham. Roll up starting at wider end. Repeat. Bake until golden brown. These reheat well! Guess what I am taking for lunch tomorrow using my leftover Easter Ham???

Happy Easter!!!!!

To all family, friends, customers and especially to ASHLEY. Hope you all have a wonderful, sunny day, surrounded with love. I am taking the day off today so there will not be any new photos posted today.

Unity Candle Sets finished on Saturday, April 3rd

There are about 6 more sets not shown. I will have to take photos later as the sun is bathing the table in light, making it hard to get good photos. These will all ship between Monday and Wednesday of this coming week.

Unity Candle Sets finished March 25-April 1st

Here are a few of the ones that shipped already or are shipping on Monday. This has been a busy week for me as it is the week before Easter. I work as a floral designer by day so lots of floral design work this week, not so many candles made. I am working in the studio today (Saturday, April 3rd). I will not be answering convo's or working tomorrow. I will try and load photos this evening of ones I get get done and finish proofs for others. I hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend. Lynne
